Irish artist Toria, is one of the most exciting new voices in Ireland’s alt-rock scene. With a sound that’s moody, melancholic, and totally magnetic, she’s back with a brand-new single, Flashing of Light, and it’s a stunner.

Toria’s roots in music run deep. She grew up playing classical piano, switching between Beethoven and dreamy alt-pop ballads before picking up the guitar and trying her hand at songwriting. Moving around different corners of Ireland gave her plenty of inspiration, and she started sharing her songs at intimate musician meet-ups in small towns.

Her latest release, Flashing of Light, is a soft yet powerful blend of crashing guitars, punchy drums, and vocals that are as haunting as they are beautiful.

Flashing of Light touches on themes of death, and how sudden and shocking the loss of a loved one can be. I wrote it during a dark period, and I feel as though it has solidified the direction in which I want my music to take - Toria
