Back in 2019, theBeat.ie appeared on the scene with a simple goal: to showcase the best independent artists out there. Since day one, we’ve been passionate about discovering and sharing great music from across the spectrum — whether it’s alternative, rock, punk, pop, or anything in between. If it’s good, we want people to hear it.

We believe independent artists deserve a platform, and that’s exactly what we’re here to provide.

Who We Work With

We’re always open to hearing from solo artists, bands, and promoters. If you’ve got a new release, we’d love to know about it. Everything we do is completely free — we don’t charge artists, and we don’t accept payments from promoters or agencies to feature music. Our goal is promotion. We simply want to help great music reach more listeners.

All the images you see on theBeat.ie — including artist photos and single or album artwork — are provided directly by the artists or their promoters. We always aim to give proper credit, and if we ever miss one, just let us know. Sometimes things slip through the cracks, and we’re happy to fix it.

We don’t source images ourselves, so if you’d like to be featured, be sure to send over high-quality visuals along with your music.

It’s About Listening, Too

We don’t just talk about music — we want people to actually hear it. That’s why we embed YouTube videos directly from the artist’s official channel alongside our reviews. This allows readers to experience the track instantly, straight from the source.

We don’t receive payment for sharing these videos. It’s simply about helping artists get their music out there and connecting listeners with something new.
