Dublin’s Peter Richardson returns with his biggest track yet

Music Review | 17th Oct, 2025 Peter Richardson Peter Richardson

Dublin singer-songwriter Peter Richardson first burst onto the scene back in 2020 with his debut single The End of The World. Since then, he’s been steadily making waves, both in the studio and on stage, with a string of successful singles and standout live performances at major festivals like Kaleidoscope and Electric Picnic.

For the past two years, Peter’s been teaming up with Drogheda producer Daniel DeBurca, crafting a new collection of songs that’s been catching plenty of ears. Together, they’ve already dropped fan favourites like Better Alone, Told Me Twice, and Falling Softly.

Now, Peter is back with what might just be his most ambitious track yet, Heaven Can’t Help Me Now.

The song packs a punch from the first note, built around a gritty, infectious guitar riff that drives the whole track forward. Richardson’s soaring vocals cut through layers of crunching guitars, brass, and pounding drums, before it all peaks in a fierce guitar solo and a choral-style finale.

Heaven Can’t Help Me Now cements Richardson’s reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging artists. With every release, he keeps pushing his sound into bold new territory, and if this track is anything to go by, he’s only getting started.
