Mute The TV bring back 00s Indie energy with new single

Indie-rockers Mute The TV are band who have taken a DIY approach to their music. The four-piece have been carving out their own space by recording and mixing straight from their home studio, letting them really hone in on their sound without outside noise.

They’ve already built up some serious momentum, landing on multiple Spotify playlists, earning national radio air-play, and even getting attention from Hot Press Magazine. Earlier this year, their track Depression Session made its way onto an episode of Made In Chelsea, giving the band a moment in the spotlight.

Now, they’re back with a brand-new single, Take Away And TV, and it’s a punchy one. The track is fast-paced with a throwback 00s indie vibe, dripping with garage rock grit. Expect jangly riffs, fuzzy basslines, and rhythmic twists that keep you hooked from start to finish.

Despite the upbeat guitars, there’s a heavier undercurrent. The lyrics touch on themes of loneliness and the search for connection, something that brothers Elliot and Dylan know firsthand. That contrast between feel-good sound and raw honesty gives Take Away And TV a bite that makes it stick.
