Meath based singer-songwriter, Martin Moran, continues to develop not just as a songwriter but as an arranger, producer and one man band. Recording at his home studio Moran takes on the role of producer, while playing all the instruments, on his latest single, Take Your Truth.
With distorted tones, Take Your Truth
, sees Moran return to a more electric guitar driven sound akin to the rock and grunge of the 90’s and early 2000’s.
So, the character in the song is talking about taking people or situations or even both, as they are. Not expecting more than it is, enjoy the moment and tomorrow will be what it is. Find a safe place to be who you are and show the rest of the world as much or as little as you want. So he’s offering to be that safe place to someone, I guess.- Moran (imro)
