As singer songwriter, Liam Doyle prepares for the launch of his debut EP, Passed, the alternative artist has giving a hint of what to expect with the release of the lead single, Berlin.

Berlin showcases Doyles creative side, as he delivers melodic vocals, supported by delicate sounding piano delivering short musical phrases over drum patterns.

Lyrically, Berlin, tells the story of an internal debate between chasing the dream and accepting the reality. The track touches on the deep sense of unease or anxiety about the fundamental aspects of life and youthful idealism.

With the single, Doyle's hopes to raise funds for Hughs House, a charity that provides a lifeline to families with children in hospital. The connection to Hugh's House, is a personal one for Doyle;

My son spent three months in hospital when he was born. During this extremely stressful time, the support and services of Hugh's House were vital to us. I will be forever grateful and indebted to them and will take any opportunity to support the house and the hundreds of families that go through its doors every year
If you're going to stream a song on repeat, why not make it one that does some good?
