Indie band, Kippax, release jangly guitar driven new single

Music Review | 24th May, 2025 Kippax Kippax

Brought together over their shared love for 60's jangly guitars, Dublin based band, Kippax, are a band on the rise. Releasing their debut single in February 2024 the band has played consistently packed out and sold out shows around Dublin. Notably a sold out headline upstairs in Whelan's, a slot at Whelan's 'Ones to Watch 2025' and supporting Getdown Service on the Irish leg of their UK/IE tour.

The latest release for Kippax is the new-wave sounding, New Orleans. Weaving clean tones and heavy basslines, Kippax summon the sounds of bands such as The Smiths with a vocal delivery akin to Joy Division. The track has an energetic feel to it that build to an anthem like chorus.

The band has been busy working on their debut EP, Voyeurism, which is set for release later in the year.
