indifferentMonKeY first came onto the scene in the summer of 2022, and ever since, they’ve been doing their own thing. This isn't your average indie band. They’ve created a sound that sits somewhere between rock, electronic, and trip-hop, carving out their own unique lane that they’ve dubbed Trip Hop Rock.

Their music leans into a darker, moodier vibe, often exploring heavy themes like societal pressures, inner turmoil, and what it really means to be human. That vibe is front and center in their latest single, Painless War.

Painless War hits hard right from the start. It’s packed with gritty basslines, crashing guitars, and a hypnotic energy that brings to mind punk-rock legends like The Stooges. Layered over all of that is a soulful vocal performance that adds emotional weight to the song’s introspective, thought-provoking lyrics.
