Following a successful 2024, indie artist, Papa Boyle has carved a unique position for himself musically with his blend of 50/60's sounds with a modern feel. Taking inspiration from the retro sounds of artists such as Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and The Everly Brothers, Papa Boyle croons over an ambient landscape filled with rousing melodies and pondering punchlines.
The latest single from the Dublin artist is Falling For A Daydream, a track that explores the desires to be lost in thought and the yearning for bigger and brighter days.
It can be easy to get bogged down in the mundane tasks of life and I wanted this track to have a playful feeling to it that shows its ok to lean in those daydreams, as often times that can be where the best ideas come from.
This track has some softer moments but overall I think we captured the energy of the performances of the recording sessions, I'm excited for people to hear Falling For A Daydream and I'm looking forward to a lot more new music coming out this year!- Papa Boyle
Papa Boyle is set to headline the Workmans Celler, Dublin, on 13th March with support from Left Iris, tickets on sale here.
The single, Falling For A Daydream, is available through all streaming platforms.
