Four piece indie-rockers, Mute The TV, are a band on the rise as they continue to develop a reputation for delivering imaginative melodic music.
The band has a number of releases under their belt which has earned them multiple airplays and music blog features. The latest single, Depression Session, is a energetic melodic indie track filled with slick guitar lines and harmonies.
Lyrically, Depression Session, is a song about two people who grew up together through trying times. Their lives take very different paths from each other with many highs and lows. One of the pair manages to get their life on track, while the other struggles and they gradually drift from each other's lives, but always remain connected in some way and by their past.
Nathanaël really captured the essence of the song with the artwork he created. The image depicts two characters, one at either end of a branch, symbolising the many paths of life and its ups and downs.
