The Fest That Celebrates Itself, GazeFest, returns for 2025

Flying the flag for Irish shoegaze, GazeFest returns with a line up that promises to be even bigger than last year! Ireland's first and only shoegaze festival, bringing together bands from all over Ireland, Northern Ireland and this year the UK, to celebrate the sounds of hazy reverberated fuzz and dreamy melodies.

Gazefest 2025, will be headlined by British shoegaze band Whitelands, whose album Night-bound Eyes Are Blind To The Day was one of the biggest shoegaze albums of the year last year. Their debut album earned them a UK tour supporting shoegaze heroes Slowdive, and followed an incredible run of singles. This marks the band's first time in Ireland!

GazeFest is about, bringing together like minded individuals, both bands and crowd, to celebrate some of the most exciting talent across the island and UK. The festival will take place over two dates August 29th and August 30th. The first date will take place in the iconic Grand Social in Dublin as Whitelands, Virgins and Dream Boy begin the festivities.

The second date on August 30th is the main event being held in Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast and boasts a massive 9 band line running from 2pm-11pm. Accompanying headliners Whitelands are Virgins, Wynona Bleach, fresh off a second SxSW jaunt, Sunstinger, return for a second year to bring their heavy gaze, Dream Boy make their Belfast debut, How R U make their GazeFest debut with their lofi slowcore, Gush return for a second year following a run of successful releases, Silk make their debut at GazeFest and the dense sonic soundscapes of Haunted Images opens the day!

The Belfast date is 14+ giving young people the opportunity to be a part of and experience some of the most exciting talent Ireland and UK has to offer.
