Sunny days are officially loading. Dublin’s longest-running city-centre festival is back where it belongs — taking over the stunning grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham for another Bank Holiday blowout on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May 2026. Yep, Forbidden Fruit is turning 14, and it’s doing it in serious style.
With five stages packed full of electronic, hip hop and alternative goodness, Forbidden Fruit 26
is already shaping up to be one of those weekends. And with the first wave of artists just announced, the hype is very real.

Set your alarms.
KAYTRANADA makes a return. The Haitian-born, Montreal-based producer first popped up in Ireland back in 2013 with a DJ set at Forbidden Fruit Night in Temple Bar. Fast-forward to 2026 and he’s a full-blown global icon, armed with Grammy wins, era-defining albums (99.9%, BUBBA, TIMELESS) and one of the internet’s most replayed Janet Jackson remixes. Expect immaculate vibes.
Then there’s KETTAMA, Galway’s own and one of the most in-demand DJ/producers on the planet right now. From collabs with Fred again...and Underworld to tearing it up at Coachella and Glastonbury, this is a massive moment — and his first ever festival headline in Ireland.
NIA ARCHIVES brings raw jungle, drum & bass and punk-fuelled chaos, wrapped up in deeply personal songwriting and seriously high-energy sets.
JOY CROOKES, meanwhile, delivers pure soul. The London-based singer’s storytelling, powerhouse vocals and tracks like Early (feat. Jafaris) make her shows emotional, intimate and unforgettable.
UK selector INTERPLANETARY CRIMINAL lands in Dublin with club weapons like B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All) and headline experience from Dekmantel to Arcadia Spider. Tokyo’s ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U brings the kind of flawless, hypnotic DJing that made his Boiler Room sets go viral worldwide.
Closer to home, Irish producer SHEE (aka David Sheerin) continues his rise from local pubs to packed-out festival tents, while Belfast-born, Berlin-based SALLY C serves up vinyl-driven deep house and techno that never misses.
MPH is pushing UK Garage forward with originals and remixes for the likes of Calvin Harris, Four Tet and Anderson .Paak. Berlin’s HORSEGIIRL makes her Irish live debut — horse-head mask, hardstyle-meets-happy-hardcore energy and all. If you know My Barn, My Rules, you already know this set will be chaos (the fun kind).
Also stepping onto an Irish stage for the first time is ZULAN, the Argentinian-American artist known for her DIY live shows, soccer jerseys and sold-out gigs, while MOIO, the Nigerian-Irish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, brings heartfelt R&B, indie and soul to round out the announcement.
Long days, late nights, and the city’s best weekend soundtrack? Forbidden Fruit 2026 is already ticking all the boxes. See you in Kilmainham.
