Indie Rockers Broncos start the year with new single

Music Review | 28th Jan, 2025 Broncos Broncos

Only 6 months after forming, Broncos have been making a name for themselves on the live scene in Ireland. Formed as a result of the demise of previous projects, each band member spent years in band purgatory before joining forces with their shared desire to write and perform live.

Following on from the success of their debut single Erode, released in 2024, the band has returned with an exciting new track, Lights Out. A four minute slice of melodic post-hardcore, the latest single showcases the bands raw sound.

The song is a religious metaphor for second chances, missed opportunities and remedied situations. The verses focus on flash point scenarios and crossroad moments where one choice leads you down one path and the other towards a completely different reality. The driving interplay of vocals are used to show the chaotic thought process being life choices, self doubt and gut feelings.

The band recorded and mixed the track at their studio in Belfast, with frontman/bassist Shane taking the controls. When it came time to master the track the band turned to Dan Coutant (War on Women/Drug Church).

The band are set to play a number of nights supporting Bannered Mare;
