Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Tridence
are an indie, alt-rock band formed back in 2019. COVID-19 played a major role in what would be the official beginning of the band, as the boys had a lot of time to think, write, and hone their sound.
The lads began writing and recording from the beginning resulting in a number of releases, including their debut album, Euphoric Youth
, released in 2023.
With ample radio play worldwide, mainstream press coverage and a second album on the way, Tridence have become an exciting force in the Irish music scene.
The latest release from the band is Pretty Imperfections, a fun, upbeat summer anthem. This feel-good sound is new and different for the band, but still feels natural. The guitar throughout is quite Johnny Marr-esque and overall the track feels Beatles inspired, yet very modern.
The lyrics are written from the perspective of front-man Bailey McLoughlin. He sings words of reassurance to his partner, comforting her about her insecurities..
As far as production goes, the song was recorded remotely by each band member in their bedroom studios and mixed and mastered by Canadian producer and engineer HugoGT, who also added synth parts to the track.
The single Pretty Imperfections is available through all streaming platforms.
