All Ive Never Had
Dublin indie songwriter Tommy Cullen has released his latest single All I've Never Had, fusing bedroom pop production with an African-inspired groove in a layered and dynamic expression of euphoric love.
All I've Never Had
expands on the disillusioned folk rock of Good Time
by cracking open the sonic landscape and celebrating the unabashed joys of human connection.
The latest track is the second single from the soon to be released debut album Enjoy the Glow
, set for release in April, 2024.
The debut Enjoy the Glow
represents the culmination of Cullen's creative life to date, exploring the past few years through tales of everyday drudgery, true love, UFO sightings and trips to Ikea.
Tommy grew up in a world of art, the son of creative parents – his father is the celebrated painter Stephen Cullen – and his songs found their first outlet with alternative rock band The False and the Fair, who eventually broke up after a six-year run on Dublin's underground scene.
Starting over again as a solo artist, Tommy threw himself into home recording and created an eclectic series of indie singles, which took flight on a seven-date tour of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, a live acoustic EP, hometown shows, numerous live streams and an informal residency busking in the picturesque surroundings of Dun Laoghaire.
All I've Never Had
takes influence from alternative/slacker music, bedroom pop pioneers and the classic '70s albums of his parents' record collection.
To celebrate the release of 'All I've Never Had', Tommy will be debuting his new live band at the Next Big Thing Festival in the Workmans Club, Dublin on 25th January. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
The single All I've Never Had is available through all streaming platforms.
