They Might Be Giants cover Irving Berlins track

Music Review | 30th April, 2024 They Might Be Giants They Might Be Giants

They Might Be Giants started with a Dial-A-Song service, powered by a lone phone machine out of their Brooklyn apartments. Since then, they have made 23 albums, and have secretly infiltrated your TV with original themes and incidental music to numerous shows and commercials.

They duo have announced a special cover of American composer Irving Berlin’s famed song Lazy.

The accompanying single art illustrated by David Cowles was inspired by the original sheet music cover for the track, offering a vividly colorful reimagining of the piece.

Lazy is released across all streaming platforms on April 19, and a 7-inch 45 will also be available exclusively through TMBG’s Idlewild Recordings later this year.
