Punk band The New Normal are a band on a mission using their music to attack racism, sexism, bigotry, homophobia, transphobia and all kinds of hate groups.

Based in the heart of Belfast the 4-piece punk rockers have kept busy gigging extensively throughout Northern Ireland and releasing their debut EP, Not Yours, in Oct 2023.

The latest single from the band, Eradication/Damnation is a faced paced rocker with heavy guitar and screaming vocals filled with anger.

Speaking about their new single the band says;

Eradication/Damnation is one of our most intense songs yet, fuelled by the anger, sadness and guilt we feel about the ongoing war against the Palestinian people.

The first time we played this song together it was followed by minutes of silence and contemplation in our practise space. This was the moment we knew we had intertwined our heavy riffs, frank lyrics and enraged vocals to perfectly encapsulate the emotions we otherwise struggled to explain.
