Punk rock trio The Mizzerables drops new single

Music Review | 12th Oct, 2024 The Mizzerables The Mizzerables

Formed in 2013 The Mizzerables have become known for their high energy brand of punk-rock filled with tons of catchy hooks.

The latest single from the trio is Sad Face, a guitar driven track filled with pop melodies blended with aggressive sounding chords and pounding drums.

Speaking about the track front man Joe Mizzi says;

Sad Face is a deeply personal song about the struggles of addiction and suicidal thoughts. It's a reflection on the battles faced by myself and by those close to me—especially women in my life who have suffered and been lost to these struggles. It captures the haunting, cyclical nature of feeling trapped in your own design and searching for a way out.
Too often, we're unable to express these emotions fully, and it gets reduced to the idea that someone's just sad and should...simply turn that frown upside down...when in reality, there's so much more happening beneath the surface.
