With lush production, Empty Plateau
, begins with an emotional string intro which breaks into a gently strummed acoustic guitar and plucked banjo blending with layers of harmonies.
Speaking about the track the duo say;
Empty Plateau is a poignant exploration of the deep complexities within a fractured family relationship. The song captures the yearning for a connection that was never fully realized, weighed down by trust issues and painful betrayals.
It conveys the heartbreak of witnessing a loved ones self-destructive behavior and the relentless cycle of hope and despair that follows, leaving a lasting impact on those who care the most.
