Blending elements of darkwave, electro-pop and EBM, Sleek Teeth have been creating music that explores the depths of isolation, dissociation, and the struggle to make sense of the senseless, all without shying away from a good hook.
Sleek Teeth launched onto the music scene with their high energy, hook-laden debut single, Gone
, along with an ambitious cinematic music video featuring a compelling dystopian narrative.
Known for haunting vocals over pulse-pounding beats, Sleek Teeth create music that is moody and melodic with an energy that feels right at home on the dancefloor of a underground nightclub.
The duo latest release is their self-titled EP Sleek Teeth, which contains five tracks that deliver a dynamic and cathartic experience, through melodic hooks and beats.
Featured on the EP is the single Endless
, a melodic, danceable darkwave offering with an anthemic chorus.
Then there is Operating
, a song all about what you see isn't always what you get. The track is filled with irresistible danceable yet menacing beats and striking synths creating an intoxicating listen.
Speaking about the EP the duo says;
It wasn't a conscious decision, but there are threads of undefined surroundings and unknown destinations woven throughout the EP.
There's a sense of mystery, like not knowing what's out there in the dark, but if you want to move forward you have to make that leap and deal with whatever comes.
The songs aren't so much an attempt to come up with answers as they are a raw expression of the struggle itself, and we think there's a kind of resolution to be found in that.
The EP Sleek Teeth is available through all streaming platforms.
