Since launching his solo career in 2015, Irish pop artist Sean McComish, has continued to carve out a reputation as one of Ireland's most promising pop artists. Now performing as a three-piece alongside Darren Bradley (Drums) and Eoin McComish (Bass), Seán's live show blends high-energy performance with polished pop sensibilities, earning him critical acclaim and a growing fanbase across Ireland and beyond.
The latest single, Blackout, is a new chapter for McComish as he fuses his production chops with undeniable pop hooks and a rich, funk-infused soundscape. Built around a slick guitar riff the track blends pop and dance elements into an exhilarating pulsing funk-pop anthem.
BLACKOUT is one of the quickest songs that has come together from start to finish for me. What started as messing about with a guitar riff swiftly became the main vocal hook. Then it naturally developed into a bass riff-oriented funk-pop track, with Darren's four-to-the-floor drum beat and tom fills driving the song forward. The track was recorded, produced and mixed by myself, and I absolutely believe that it's my best mixing and production work to date!- Sean McComish
