Rowdy Outsider release blistering pop-punk track, When You're Gone

Hailing from Drogheda, Rowdy Outsider have built a reputation by fusing rock sounds of the 90's and 00's with contemporary ideas, topics and productions.

The latest single follows 2023 releases 2 Dead Cats and Causing My Insanity and is the bands third single off their soon to be released debut EP set for spring, 2024.

Speaking about When Youre Gone the band says

When You're Gone is about love and loneliness. The lyrics are about longing for isolation but at the expense of those we love the most. We want When You're Gone to be an honest and vulnerable apology message. Sonically we were inspired by new music from Neck Deep, Blink 182 and this new wave of pop punk happening right now.

The lyrics narrate a conversation during a fight in a relationship. Asking the question...why do you look so mad?...but lead to a sobering realisation of...oh my god...do I really make you that sad?...The chorus sums up this song...When you're gone it's all alright, for a while - Rowdy Outsider
