Opinion follows the previous single, Sword released at the end of 2023, which was a productive year for the Co. Galway producer who released a number of singles.

The latest track has Joy Division vibes which comes as no surprise to an artist experienced with producing Goth, Post-Punk, Indie Rock music.

Along with his solo project, Paul has played with bands such as Starve the Barber, The Suicidal Dufflecoats and The Greeting.

Paul set up The Best of Irish Indie on Facebook during the lockdowns, running a series of Best of Irish polls with a wonderful group of Irish Indie fans.

Inspired by the group he unearthed all his own music collection and with the use of modern technologies, created a number of singles and a full album.

The result would be the debut single Who Am I (2021) and his second single Medicine (2022), both receiving international and critical acclaim.

The albums Who Why Where What and I in Power showcase pMad's captivating sound, addressing themes of self-survival, personal growth, and global concerns such as the Climate Crisis.
