Bob Geldof has caused outrage with Ireland's nationalist movement following an appearance with The Boomtown Rats at the Rewind Festival
at St Anne's Park. During the performance Geldof invited his long-time friend, Midge Ure onstage, which was followed by a verbal attack by the shaggy singer

In his usual manner the singer called on young people to boycott Elon Musk's companies and described the U.S. government's cancellation of foreign aid as a war on the weakest and most vulnerable
. However, it was his reference to Elon Musk as a C*nt, that has angered the MAGA fanbase in Ireland.
