Irish indie-rock darlings modernlove. release anthemic new single

Irish pop band Modernlove. are a band of young 20-somethings aiming to show the world the true heights of their ambition as they deliver larger than life pop anthems about coming of age and young love gone wrong.

The 4-piece have been enjoying the success of previous releases which have earned the band multiple airplays, establishing Modernlove. as one of the most exciting up and coming bands.

The latest single from the band is Yours, an emotionally-charged indie pop anthem driven by synths and guitar.

Speaking about their latest track the band say;

Yours - is a ballad of belonging. It's about appreciating how lucky you are to find someone who understands you, someone who loves you despite your flaws and shortcomings. It's about recognising that even if the relationship is to end, you were lucky to have shared your life with them for a time. It will always have been worth it despite the pain.

The song recognises that things don't always go to plan and asks us not to be bitter. Though it might be over, it still meant something and it always will. Sonically, the song takes inspiration from both indie music and the stylistic tendencies of 80s love ballads.
