Mascots continue to evolve and redefine their sound

Mascots emerged as a dynamic passion project among five friends back in 2014, fusing infectious melodies, electrifying guitar riffs, and pop-anthem undertones.

With a number of releases under their belts the band has had to navigate through the ebb and flow of the industry while being marked by lineup shifts.

In 2024, the band finds itself at its most audacious and innovative, crafting a fresh sonic identity, drawing from a diverse array of influences and genres.

As Mascots continue to evolve and redefine their sound with the release of their most recent offering, Vertigo.

With lyrical content touching the subject of mental health, self-care. The chorus begs to be sang in unison. So take it all away if life is just a game.

Speaking about the track guitarist/vocalist Robert Coyle says;

Our last single, 'Slipping in the Dark,' released on 4/3 is about the acceptance of change. Vertigo, is the natural evolution and next step in finding hope, and seeing glimpses of a future beyond the instant satisfaction we so often seek. A social commentary on quick fixes that we use to tear ourselves down. It is the discovering of new possibilities and finding support to regain a sense of purpose
