Singer-songwriter Liv Miraldi is an artist specializing in lyrics and concept who previously worked with artists, helping them find their sound and telling their story.
However, using tiktok to place uncut songs, the artist found herself landing on playlists such as Spotify's New Music Friday, Next Gen Singer-Songwriters, Indie Pop, while also gaining the attention of prominent blogs and magazines such as Atwood Magazine, C-Heads Magazine, Ladygunn, Metal Magazine, and others.
With a number of releases under her belt the artist spent 2023 and 2024 writing in LA, Norway, Hawaii, Sweden, and Germany resulting in a cathartic, raw and authentic EP marked by a profound depth and an innovative approach that captivates and challenges listeners.
The EP 2019 is a collection of songs written during one of the most difficult years of her life. She confides;
I wrote the songs I needed to hear when I was going through it. 2019 knocked the wind out of me and for a while I tried to forget about it. But the more I tried to tuck it away, the more it haunted me.
I realized, in the last few years, if I were going to move forward, I had to write about it. I learned so much in those 365 days- particularly that there are so many ways to have your heart broken, sometimes it's from a breakup, family, death, or even ourselves. For me it was all of the above. Some stories demand to be written - 2019 - is mine.
The EP 2019 is available through all streaming platforms.
