Indie-Alt band Left On Read Release Stunning New Single

Formed in 2020 with the goal of working on a couple of demos together, Left On Read, are a band that would evolve into much more, moving from impromptu jams to a fully formed band sharing a love for musical experimentation.

In 2021 the band was awarded Creative Ireland's - Made in Limerick grant, which gave them the opportunity to head into the studio to record their debut single Never Enough, quickly followed by Pick Yourself Up, Duet, Most of All, Dreams and IDK.

The latest track Dont Let Go is built around mid-tempo complex beats with synths layered under vocal harmonies.

Speaking about the single the band say

This song wasn't even a thought at the start of this summer. Its without doubt the quickest we've ever done things with a song, but we couldn't just sit on this one - it was too exciting!

Front-man Steven adds;

I sort of set out to write something nice and uplifting, like putting an arm around a buddy to tell them everything would be alright. Sort of reluctantly it became very personal, I kept thinking of specific people in my life, that had recently been through a tough time. This song is for them.
