Rockers KLDD originally formed when four schoolmates joined forces over a combined love of dirty riffs, thumping bass lines and soaring melodies. Since then the group has been gathering a catalog of new wave, psychedelic, groove-based rock and indie tracks.
The latest track from the four piece is Jaded, an anthemic alt-rocker with pounding guitars and distorted guitar.
Speaking about the track the band says;
Jaded is a song we've had for years now and we felt like it was the right time to record it and breathe some new life into it.
When we went to record it there was a shift beginning in the band, where a lot of the sounds we were using during the transformation were a lot more extreme and intense than the ones we originally used on Jaded while we wrote it and were playing it live, there's definitely a bit of our old sound in it but there's traces of the direction we have been going in the last year in this version, and we're very proud to be releasing this tune in time for summer
The lyrics are about how ruthless and complex relationships can get, how you don't think a relationship can turn on its head and take a turn for the worse when you first get in it. It's a volatile experience all of us can relate to and one we always search for answers for, why we give so much of ourselves away for it to be then thrown away.
The single Jaded is available through all streaming platforms.
