Killcode finish off the year with their latest single, and video, Ride. Their unique sound and style has been described as Southern infused Rock/Metal with melodic, hard edged vocals.
The songs are hooky super charged anthems with big guitars and driving rhythms that pump a shot of adrenaline into your system the moment you hear them.
Founded by vocalist / frontman Tom Morrissey and guitarist Chas, the two laid down the foundation of the band with a couple of tracks they recorded at their home studio. After listening back, they knew they were on to something big!
Next up would be recruiting long time musical companion Eric Bonesmith on bass guitar and Rob Noxious on the drums to complete their rhythm section. Eventually second guitarist DC Gonzalez was added to the lineup. DC, known as lead guitarist for the rock band Panzie, has proven to more than just fit in, his style reinvigorated the band.
The new single is off Killcode latest album Life, Death, Rock N' Roll, an album made up of songs about life's ups and downs, the hang and the hangover and how we deal with it all. The joys, struggles and loss that we all live through and that the band personally dealt with while writing and recording this album.
The songs range from high energy rockers and brooding hard rock, to introspective personal songs. Most of the songs were recorded during a time when most people in the world were scrambling to find a sense of normalcy and the album reflects how we all can overcome this and come back stronger than ever.
Killcode isn't showing any signs of slowing down. They’ve been playing shows in the Northeast and just returned home from the UK where they performed at the Hard Rock Hell Festival, and are ready and able to take their rightful place alongside the biggest rock acts out there.
Ride is available through all streaming platforms.
