Music Review | 13th February, 2024 Kel colour Me Pink Colour Me Pink (Cover Artwork)

This track shows another side to K E L, who usually gravitates towards Indie RnB style. Colour Me Pink is a feel-good track which flows along nicely with great vocals supported by jangling guitars in the background with a clean tone that complements the song.

Lyrically the song describes the feeling you get when you’re first falling in love with someone new, exploring the apprehensiveness that is conflicted with the butterflies of excitement.

Speaking about Colour Me Pink, K E L says;

When I was growing up as a young queer kid in Ireland in the 2000’s, love wasn’t celebrated in a way that I understood. This is the kind of song I needed when I was growing up. A celebration of young love
