Irish Pop Singer-songwriter Lisa Keane releases captivating new single

Irish singer songwriter Lisa Keane is an artist who has built a reputation for blending elements from different genres of music to create her own distinctive sound.

The latest release from the artist is Nightmare, a mid-tempo electro-pop track with layers of synths over complex beats.

Lyrically the track deals with the idea of avoiding an ex at a party turning what would have been a fun night into a nightmare!

Speaking about her latest release Lisa says;

I started writing this song in July last year and honestly, I can't even remember where the idea for it came from. It just kind of flowed out of me. The majority of the time, when I'm writing music, it's based on something that has happened to me or feelings that I've felt around the time that I sit down to write.

However, with this song, the idea just kind of came to me one day. Songwriting is kind of funny that way. It felt like a perfect follow-up to my last single - Chasing Ghosts - a continuation of that story in a way.
