Singer songwriter Iann Brennan's solo project continues to blossom as he releases his latest single, Can We Let It Go?

Since going solo in 2015 Brennan has been writing anthemic, melodic, catchy, heartfelt songs which are influenced by bands such as Oasis, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Stereophonics.

As a live performer the artist fuses anthemic melodic songs and driving guitar lines with energetic and witty stage banter. Notable past performances include opening for Damien Dempsey, Aslan, Declan O'Rourke, along with performances at festivals such as Electric Picnic, 3Olympia Theatre, Vicar St. and Cork Opera House.

The latest release, Can We Let It Go?, sees the artist stripped right back with just his vocals and acoustic guitar supported by subtle strings.

Speaking about Can We Let Go? the artist says;

Can We Let It Go?' was written in late 2017 and has gone down as a fan favourite when played live...The song is about reminiscing about growing up around my area in Finglas, Dublin and growing apart from childhood friends
It's a song that takes you back to the feeling you had of being a kid and growing into adolescence. It's a feel-good anthem with a great hook and melody.

Brennan is set to release his debut album Start As We Mean To Go On followed by an Irish tour towards the end of 2024.
