Irish alternative, Go Bury Your Monsters unleash striking new single

Music Review | 8th June, 2025 theBeat.ie - Go Bury Your Monsters Go Bury Your Monsters

Following the success of their debut single Science of The Heart and the follow-up, In The Belly Of The Beast, which was released last month and picked up support from multiple music publications, alt-rockers Go Bury Your Monsters return with their latest single.

With hints of the 80's, but with a modern feel, I Knew Your Mind (Like You Knew Mine), is the latest offering from the bands soon to be released debut EP. Creating a sonic-landscape with layers of synth under dreamy vocals the track builds to a stunning melodic guitar solo.

Consisting of Shayne Byrne, Darragh J. Glennon, Brian Murphy and Stephen Young. Working remotely – aside from Byrne, at his studio, RaggedSound, in County Carlow – Young (Italy), Murphy (Westmeath) and Glennon (Spain), the four musicians spent 18 months delving into original material to create compositions that pushed their own boundaries and yet, grasped at something that was, to their ears, a collage of retro and contemporary.

Together the four pieced would put together what would become Body Language, the soon to be released debut EP from alt-rockers.
