Studio Band Filthy Algorithm Release Cover of New-Wave Track

Drogheda based band Filthy Algroithm continue to expand their sound with the release of their latest single, a cover of 1982s Situation by British synth-pop band Yazoo.

Filthy Algorithm have had a productive 2024 so far with multiple releases including Elvis Was A Punk and Crossroads combining punk and new wave tones into a unique sound.

The latest single Situation pays homage to the legendary synth-pop duo Yazoo and features a stunning vocal performace by singer, Shivonne.

The band are spearheaded by musician producer Paul Byrne who has been working with multiple musicans in his home town of Drogheda. The latest track is co-produced alongside Franky Campbell with Martin Cummins (Stonecold Hobo) taking care of mixing and mastering duties.
