Alt-Rock Artist ELLYD Releases Atmospheric Single

Since releasing her debut single Close in 2019 Dublin singer songwriter EELYD has been carving a name for herself in the alt-rock scene.

Along with a number of single releases the artist has played some of Irelands biggest festivals and venues including Electric Picnic, Indiependence, Vicar Street and The Olympia.

After spending the last two years writing and producing her highly anticipated debut album, ELLYD returns with her new single, I Will Wait.

With an atmospheric intro, I Will Wait, has a minimalist sound underneath ELLYDs stunning vocals. The track has slight tones of 90's indie reminiscent of bands like The Cardigans or Garbage.

Speaking about the new single, ELLYD says;

The song is about love and patience. I wrote the song while I was on a song writing break in Portnoo in Donegal. The song is about having patience with someone you love and letting them know you will always be there for them. It's the first track on the album and I think it gives a good taste of what's to come.

The latest single gives an exciting glimpse at what is to come from her album, Tomorrow Be Kind, which is due for release later this year.
