Breakthrough Irish indie-rock outfit Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets release brooding new single

Limerick band Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets have been making a name for themselves since the release of their self-produced debut album in 2023 which was also followed by a tour across Ireland and the UK.

2024 is expected to be another positive year for the band as they release their follow up album The Story After They're Gone in October. In preparation the band have released their tease single, In Your Eyes.

Opening with melancholic slide guitar and twinkling rhythm guitars In Your Eyes blends Indie-Rock and Americana, a sound which the band have been teasing across their last few singles.

Speaking about the track Flynn says;

This track was the one that made me realise what direction we wanted to take the album in. It was written late in the process, but when we jammed it together as a band it had such a raw and live energy, that we knew we wanted to try capture on the record. It's a song about denial, and ignoring situations that are clearly making your life much harder.
