Formed in 2021 by singer-songwriter Paul Clarke along with Barry Fitzgerald on drums, Navan band Bowery Boy evolved into a full alt-rock unit with the addition of bassist Lenny Lane and lead guitarist Robbie Fitzgerald.

Blending elements of alternative and indie rock Bowery Boy deliver music that ranges from extended rock jams to sharp, three-minute indie anthems.

Making an impact on the indie-alt live music scene the band has released their highly anticipated debut single, Fortified, an emotionally charged anthem of resilience and transformation, capturing Bowery Boy's distinct blend of intensity and melodic depth.

Fortified marks a significant evolution in Clarke's songwriting, bringing a heavier and more dynamic sound. Lyrically, the song explores themes of breaking free from constraints, finding direction, and personal empowerment.

Featuring acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and producer Martin Quinn on bass and additional guitars Fortified was recorded at JAM Studios in Kells, Co. Meath.
