Taking her moniker from a Smashing Pumpkins deep cut Annie-Dog's is an indie riser who has already won early nods of approval from key tastemakers including NME and Hot Press, in addition to multiply airplays from BBC Radio 1, Radio X and RTÉ 2fm.
The latest single from the artist is Have I Been Living?, a track that sees her delve further into the shapeshifting pop landscape, incorporating the influences of Grimes and Pinkpantheress within her own sublime self-production.
Speaking about her latest track the artist says;
Have I Been Living is the first track I'm sharing from my second EP, 15. I wrote this song some time ago now. At the time, I remember having a lot questions come up for me surrounding what I wanted to do with my life, the people in my life... I found myself often wondering whether or not I was happy (I've since learned that usually, if you have to ask, you aren't). I find that I'm a person who naturally has a tendency to overthink. I could think myself silly.
I've historically also had a tendency to get lost in thoughts of what happened yesterday, whilst worrying about tomorrow. I have a chronically rich inner world, full of scenarios that never happened, and alternative endings to things that did. That sounds intense when you write it down.
In this song, I was trying to get my head around whatever memories were getting me down. Because there's no point to living in the past. There's so much good around me, and I'd rather just focus on that.
The single Have I Been Living is available through all streaming platforms.
